We build.
“Build it to last.”
The Kingdom History
Aksum was famous for building. Its workers cut giant pillars from single blocks of granite — the tallest stood higher than a six-storey building and raised them by hand. Aksum also made its own coins and used its own alphabet, and it was one of the first kingdoms anywhere to follow Christianity. An ancient writer named Mani once listed Aksum among the great powers of his time, alongside Rome, Persia, and China. Historians still quote him today.
